JSE and The Hive Careers Sign MoU to Strengthen Workforce Development and Innovation

KINGSTON, Jamaica 

 The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has partnered with The Hive Careers (THC), a subsidiary of Ingenuity Technologies Group Inc., to drive innovation and workforce development throughout Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.

Effective June 24, this strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) will support entrepreneurs, professionals, and listed companies—especially those on the Junior and Micro Markets—through a suite of high-impact services.

What the Partnership Delivers

The MoU outlines a robust programme designed to boost access to:

  • Global research and development support

  • Mentorship and advisory services across key industries

  • Professional services referrals

  • Innovation implementation strategies

TheHiveCareers will spearhead the rollout of these services while leveraging its expansive network of subject matter experts, regional mentors, and global advisors.

Importantly, the initiative integrates with the JSE e-Campus, which will now feature upgraded modules and facilitators focused on real-time innovation, professional growth, and market-relevant skills development.

Leadership Speaks on the Impact

Melarka Williams, CEO of The Hive Careers, underscored the transformative nature of the initiative.

“Through this collaboration with the JSE, we’re creating a platform where education, mentorship, and innovation converge to drive real economic transformation,” Williams said.

Dr Marlene Street Forrest, Managing Director of the JSE, echoed those sentiments, emphasizing the MoU’s role in developing the capital market infrastructure.

“This collaboration will strengthen Jamaica’s capital market, advance research and development, and enhance support for the junior and micro markets,” said Street Forrest.
